Submission Guidelines
After making it this far, are you ready to go for the title of The South's Funniest Accountant yourself? We applaud your courage and want to make your way to stardom as easy as possible. 

To participate:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a practicing financial profession in the southeast

There are two ways to audition as an individual:

1. Our live audition for the 2010 show will be held September 14, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta, GA.  Please contact Randi Bates at (770) 267-4261 or you can e-mail her at randi@accountantsone.com to learn more about the audition process.
2. If you are unable to attend the live auditions, we will be accept a video submission of your routine that can be mailed to us at:

Video Guidelines:

• Video submissions must be received by the live audition date, September 15, 2009
• All routines have to be three minutes or shorter
• Submissions must be able to be viewed on DVD or VHS
• You can use your own material or borrow a routine from your favorite comedian or funny television show.

Performers should plan on delivering a three to five minute routine with original material during the night of the show itself.

Here’s how to enter as a comedy sketch group:

• Post your video to You Tube and e-mail Randi Bates, randi@accountantsone.com the link by September 14, 2010.  After going through our review board, the top videos will be posted to the Accountants Are Funny Too website, www.accountantsarefunnytoo.com for viewers to vote on their favorite group video.
• The limit is 15 group members and all group members must be a practicing accounting/financial professional in the south.
• All comedy sketches have to be five minutes or less.
• You must have fun!
